GRJ Agro & its owner Sarfaraz Ali Junejo believe in modern corporate farming practices and actively engage in community upliftment via social welfare projects in the vicinity of its farms.
One such example is the local school located in Goth Abu Bakar Junejo, Mirpurkhas. It was initiated thanks to the collaboration between the Diocese of Hyderabad and TEAR Australia (NGO). Due to this school, children of the village are getting quality education free of cost so that they reach their full potential without hurdles such as lack of financial resources to get in their way.
Apart from this GRJ actively engages in communal work such as installing hand pumps, constructing water tanks for the local population in the villages, short bridges for transportation for the ease of villagers as well as brick kiln roads within the village where GRJ AGRO is established, that being GOTH ABU BAKR JUNEJO.
GRJ Agro believes that access to basic primary level education is the right of every child irrespective of his or her gender, creed, caste or religion and this is but a drop in the vast ocean with relation to eradication illiteracy specifically in the rural areas of Sindh and in particular Mirpurkhas.
Thanks to the collaboration and partnership with TCF (The Citizen Foundation) and Sarfaraz Ali Junejo’s personal donation of land for the TCF School in Village Ghulam Rasool Junejo, Mirpurkhas, is a transformative initiative that is reshaping the lives of local children. Currently, the school provides education up to the third standard, ensuring that both boys and girls from impoverished backgrounds receive high-quality, free education in a safe and nurturing environment. Along with this, the students are also provided with free books and educational resources, ensuring there are no financial barriers to their learning journey.
Efforts are actively underway to expand the school’s capacity to educate beyond the third standard, with plans to introduce higher classes. This future expansion aims to cater to the growing educational needs of the local children, providing them with continued access to learning as they progress through their academic years. The school’s development reflects Sarfaraz Ali Junejo’s and GRJ Agriculture & Livestock’s commitment to the long-term social and educational empowerment of the community, particularly for those who need it most.
By fostering an environment where education is accessible, inclusive, and geared toward quality, we are paving the way for a brighter future, where more students will be able to complete their education locally, equipping them with the knowledge and skills they need to break the cycle of poverty and build a better tomorrow.
The Rehmat Ghulam Rasool Junejo Dialysis Centre, located in Village Ghulam Rasool Junejo, stands as a beacon of healthcare support for the community, offering essential dialysis services completely free of charge. With the capacity to administer between 80-90 dialysis treatments per month, the centre provides life-saving care to patients suffering from kidney diseases, many of whom come from economically disadvantaged backgrounds and lack access to affordable healthcare.
It is also equipped with a fully functional laboratory. This laboratory offers a wide range of diagnostic services at no cost, both for inpatients undergoing dialysis and for walk-in patients from the community. By offering comprehensive diagnostic services alongside life-saving dialysis treatments, the centre ensures that patients receive holistic and uninterrupted care. This free laboratory service helps to detect and monitor a variety of medical conditions, allowing for timely interventions and better healthcare outcomes. The facility’s commitment to removing financial barriers to essential health services highlights its dedication to improving the quality of life for the most vulnerable members of the community.
In addition to the dialysis services, the centre is equipped with an ambulance facility specifically for patients who do not have the means to access transportation. This ensures that no one is denied treatment due to logistical barriers, further emphasizing the centre’s mission to deliver compassionate and equitable healthcare. This initiative reflects a deep commitment to the well-being of the local community, particularly those who need it most. By addressing both medical and transportation needs, the Rehmat Ghulam Rasool Junejo Dialysis Centre is playing a pivotal role in alleviating healthcare disparities in rural Sindh and ensuring that life-saving treatments are accessible to all.
