It is located in Mirpurkhas, Sindh, Pakistan. In a few decades, GRJ (Ghulam Rasool Junejo) Agro Farms has established its name, which is synonymous with progressive farming practices and records higher yield production of the crops grown at its farms. Spanning well over 1200 acres, a variety of crops are grown at GRJ Agro farms, predominately Sugar Cane, Cotton, Rhodes Grass (Chloris Gayana), Green Chillies, Pulses (Moong), Maize, Onion, Wheat and two state-of-the-art environmentally controlled poultry farms.
Under the competent guidance and vision of the GRJ Agro’s owner, Sarfaraz Ali Junejo, we have assembled the best human resource team; our professionals are well-versed and qualified in best agrarian-related practices coupled with farm mechanisation. Founder
The founder of GRJ AGRO, upon which our farm is named as well, a prominent political personality of Mirpurkhas who held the office of District Chairman Tharparkar. It was due to his proactive vision that GRJ AGRO grew from a humble farming business to a name being recognized by all within the agricultural community.
Today, the sons of Mr Ghulam Rasool Junejo, Mr Sarfaraz Ali Junejo & Mr Salman Rasool Junejo are working on his legacy and vision to advance and further promote GRJ AGRO as a farming business concern in today’s day and age.
Sarfaraz Ali Junejo
Owner
Mr Sarfaraz Ali Junejo has made a name for himself as a progressive farmer in the Mirpurkhas district. Also, a politician and ex-Taluka Nazim of Taluka Sindhri, he was among one of the first agriculturists if not the first one to adopt laser leveler technology and practically started implanting in the lands to extract maximum benefit from it.
Mr Sarfaraz Ali Junejo is the Chairman of the Pakistan Hay Association and in past has served under the role of Vice President of the Sindh Abadgar Board and also served as the General Secretary of FOC (Farmers Organization Council). Moreover, he has also spent a considerable amount abroad in the United States of America due to his professional career before joining the field of Agriculture.
A progressive farmer and an innovator alike that took corporate farming to new heights. He is the pioneer of Platform Baling in Pakistan, a process where Rhodes grass hay is baled outside the field where it is grown and cut. This innovative method facilitates higher-quality fodder processing and colour grading. HIS commitment to innovation and the modernization of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) has set a new industry standard, prompting other Rhodes grass farmers to adopt this crucial step in quality processing.
He is considered an innovator in the field of agriculture with relation to bringing and adopting contemporary and modern agricultural-based practices and technology way ahead of the learning curve of the traditional farmers based in our environment who are resistant to change and are risk averse, which leads to small or close to no new induction of technology and modern farm practices to be implemented in Pakistan and in particular Sindh, this is one of the primary reason Sindh is lacking behind in low crop yield and productivity. To elaborate on Mr. Sarfaraz’s agricultural experience, he has the distinction of attending Dubai Agricultural Expo 2016, World Water Week 2002-3 in Stockholm and several other international and national level agricultural-based seminars, workshops and forums.
Thanks to Mr Sarfaraz Ali Junejo’s work ethic which includes giving a fair share of the crop to farmers and justified salary and pay to labourers under the employment of GRJ Agriculture & Livestock, our farm witnesses’ motivated workers because of their stake being vested in the farm’s betterment. Not only this, the employment package includes free medical as well. This simple yet ingenious system of working has enabled us to enjoy unprecedented crop production because of better human management resources than run-of-the-mill farmers who employ mundane and draconian employment tactics.
Salman Rasool Junejo

Having done his MBA from the Institute of Business Management (IoBM). Mr Salman Junejo represents the newer breed of a generation who believes in embracing innovative and newfangled agrarian practices to get the required task at hand done effectively. He has prior experience in marketing and advertising and believes that the correct marketing and advertising of Pakistan’s produce and crops is the key to attaining market share abroad.
Additionally, he also heads GRJ Agro’s PR (Public Relations), Export and Customer Service departments to ensure first hand that GRJ Agro’s customer base and clientele always gets satisfied. The mutually beneficial customer-to-business relationship is at the cornerstone of GRJ’s mission statement.
